That's the name of the blog by Saundra Schimmelpfennig who was recently mentioned in the New York Times.
It's an informative blog by an expert in international aid. If you're interested in helping the victims of the earthquake in Haiti, this is definitely a must-read. In fact, it's a good read for anyone who's ever been interested in offering help to disaster victims.
Both her blog and the NYT article say the same thing- donate money, not food or water or clothes. And don't show up to a disaster site offering to help unless you really know what you're doing.
She gives a lot of reasons as to why money is best, and how a lot of resources are wasted when inappropriate donations or volunteer work is offered. Take a look.
And here's a way to actually donate and help.
