Earthquake in Japan- Earthquake in Shizuoka (Update #23)

It's now midnight here in Shizuoka, and the aftershocks seem to have settled. There's been reports of fires and landslides in the area but there hasn't been confirmation so far. Wouldn't call it reliable news yet.

Phones are clogged, however, and there are a lot of sirens (ambulances mainly) going off in nearby streets. I seriously do hope people haven't been hurt.

As far as I can tell though, there hasn't been significant damage in or around the neighborhood.

And they've said the Hamamatsu Nuclear Reactor (80km southwest of here and close to Shizuoka City) is stable. There hasn't been any damage reported.

I'll do my best to translate the news as it comes. Good luck and stay safe everybody.
